TITLE: Out Of This World

PRODUCT/ BRIEF: To mark the opening of a dedicated Dior Men flagship store in Sydney the Dior Men Pre-Fall 2019 collection was shot in a ten page editorial feature alongside an interview with designer Kim Jones.

IDEA: Honouring Dior’s inspiration for the collection and exploring it creatively. The series has a galactic, out of this world, adventure, end of day, robotic feel. Dior’s Japanese robot inspiration is expanded upon here along with the Japanese visual philosophy of ‘wabi sabi’ - an appreciation of beauty that is incomplete or imperfect- man against the wild natural world in the age of technology.
